Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III threw for 132 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions before leaving the Week 8 loss to the Denver Broncos in the fourth quarter. The injury didn't appear to be serious and it was reported after the game it was more due to the blowout than the injury. Griffin wasn't exactly looking sharp but his replacement, Kirk Cousins, promptly threw two interceptions including a pick six at the end of the game.

Fantasy impact: Griffin was just appearing to be returning to form after going down with an injury to his other knee toward the end of his rookie season. While the injury doesn't appear to be serious, fantasy owners will want to keep a close eye on the situation as he did grab his knee going down and it initially looked bad. On the year, Griffin has nine passing touchdowns, no rushing touchdowns, and has thrown for 1878 yards. He has 240 rushing yards as well. The Redskins will face the San Diego Chargers in Week 9.
