Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick only got nine pass attempts in before being injured Sunday. He was replaced by backup Matt Barkley, who stayed healthy, but couldn't do much else right in the team's 15-7 loss to the New York Giants.
Matt Barkley, Michael Vick struggle individually, a fantasy disaster together
The two Eagles quarterbacks combined for only 189 passing yards and each threw a pick. We break down the fantasy implications.

Vick completed only six passes for 31 yards, including an interception, and ran the ball once for one yard before being removed with an aggravation of his previous hamstring injury. With the team's other top quarterback, Nick Foles, already out with an injury, Barkley was pressed into service. He completed 17 of his 26 pass attempts for 158 yards, but also threw an interception and fumbled three times, losing one.
Fantasy impact: Barkley’s lost fumble came on his first drive, giving him turnovers on each of his first four career drives (after three interceptions on three drives last week). His next drive ended in a turnover on downs.
Basically, there were nothing going for the Philadelphia offense, and with things fading, not a lot of reason to count on many bright spots in the weeks to come. Neither Foles nor Vick has shown the ability to stay both healthy and competitive, and the less said about Barkley, the better.
The worst part about this is the quarterbacks' struggles have really hurt the team's other fantasy options -- namely running back LeSean McCoy and wide receiver DeSean Jackson. Until things get squared away under center, the Eagles' other stars have to take a value hit.
