Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles turned in his usual great effort to lead the offense to a 23-17 victory over the Browns.
Jamaal Charles totals over 100 yards for 8th straight game for fantasy owners
The Chiefs got another solid performance from their feature back to improve to 8-0. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Chiefs went to their feature back early and often, as Charles tallied 74 yards on 18 carries and chipped in with 46 receiving yards on five catches. Charles continued to be a force in the screen game, routinely moving the chains on 3rd-and-long versus a stout Browns front seven.
Fantasy Spin: While it wasn’t a fantasy performance that blew owners away, Charles continued a trend that surely will. He has now totaled at least 100 yards in every game this season, and his 383 receiving yards are tops on the Chiefs. Charles is now on pace for 2,036 yards from scrimmage and 16 total touchdowns, which are more than welcome figures for fantasy owners savvy enough to draft him.
In Week 9, the Chiefs will face the Buffalo Bills, but at this point, it hardly matters which defense Charles and the Chiefs face. They will feed him the ball, and with his usual amount of 20 touches per game, Charles can do special things. Lock him up as an RB1.
