Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo only threw for 206 yards Sunday, but did connect for three touchdowns. The effort came in a loss as the Cowboys fell 31-30 to the Detroit Lions.
Tony Romo gives fantasy owners three touchdowns
The Cowboys quarterback avoided an interception for the first time in four games. We break down the fantasy implications.

Romo connected with wide receiver Dez Bryant on a 5-yard score late in the first half. In the fourth quarter, the quarterback notched more than half his yardage total for the game on two scores -- a 60-yarder to wide receiver Terrance Williams and a 50-yard score to Bryant.
Fantasy impact: The three touchdowns bring Romo's season total to 18 scores against only five interceptions. Sunday's game was his first with multiple scores since the Cowboys' epic game against the Denver Broncos three weeks ago. On the other hand, he was limited to 206 passing yards, his second-lowest total of the season, and his 46.7 completion percentage was the first time this season that number has dropped below 50.
The Cowboys face the Minnesota Vikings and their poor offense next week for Week 9, so Romo's numbers should rebound nicely.
