San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick proved his dual-threat nature once again after racking up plenty of real estate versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Colin Kaepernick erupts for 3 touchdowns for fantasy owners
The San Francisco 49ers got a big game from their speedy quarterback in London versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kaepernick and the 49ers dominated the Jaguars in all facets, and so much that he did not attempt a pass in the fourth quarter. During a 42-10 blowout, Kaepernick completed 10 of 16 passes for 164 yards and a touchdown, and also ran for 54 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries. Kaepernick made his ground presence known early, as he made his way into the end zone on a designed quarterback keeper for 14 yards in the first quarter and never looked back.
Fantasy Spin: With three total touchdowns, it was Kaepernick's finest fantasy output of the season aside from his 412-yard explosion in Week 1 versus the Green Bay Packers. In a closer game, Kaepernick could have easily logged more yards and fantasy points, but the 49ers visibly eased up on the gas pedal with a huge lead and eventually put backup Colt McCoy in the game for a series.
The 49ers have a Week 9 bye, so Kaepernick's owners will need to find a backup option at quarterback. Afterward, he faces a difficult challenge at home versus a revitalized Panthers defense.
