New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees had his best game of the season Sunday. He threw for five touchdowns as the Saints beat the Buffalo Bills, 35-17.
Drew Brees gives fantasy owners five passing TDs
The Saints quarterback had a huge game Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brees' 332 passing yards were only his fourth-highest total in the team's seven games this season, but his passer rating of 146.1 and his five touchdowns were both season bests. Brees completed two touchdown passes each to wide receiver Kenny Stills (on passes of 69 and 42 yards) and tight end Jimmy Graham (15 and 13 yards), and also threw a 15-yard score to wide receiver Lance Moore.
Fantasy impact: Brees’ 33 fantasy points (in standard scoring) Sunday were his highest total of the season, and it made him the first quarterback to top 30 points three different times in 2013.
Aaron Rodgers still has a likely claim on the role of fantasy's No. 1 quarterback, but Brees has made it a far more interesting conversation. Fantasy owners who want to claim Brees as No. 1 shouldn't face much of an argument.
