San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore racked-up another big performance, this time versus the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.
Frank Gore scores a pair of touchdowns for fantasy owners vs. Jaguars
The San Francisco 49ers’ feature-back padded his season touchdown total once again with a two-score game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. We break down the fantasy implications.

The veteran back has been an effective goal-line presence all season for the 49ers, and he proved it once again rushing for 71 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Gore’s gritty performance was solid from the beginning, ending the 49ers first drive of the game with a 19-yard run to the end zone. Gore later capitalized with a two-yard score in the second half to pad the lead and his stats.
Fantasy Spin: At this point, it would be a surprise if Gore went a week without finding the end zone. That’s now back-to-back weeks that Gore has scored two touchdowns in a game, and he now has seven on the season.
After the 49ers Week 9 bye, Gore will have a tough test versus a stout Carolina Panthers front seven the ensuing week. The Panthers are allowing just 73.9 yards on the ground per game, and 3.7 yards per carry. Despite that, Gore is always a good bet to find pay dirt, and he can be penned in as an RB2 with RB1 upside.
