Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts continues to produce despite sustaining a recent clavicle injury, leading the team in catches, yards and targets on Sunday.
Cecil Shorts keeps trucking for fantasy owners, records 74 yards vs. 49ers
The Jacksonville Jaguars got more production from their speedy wideout on Sunday despite a loss to the San Francisco 49ers. We break down the fantasy implications.

However, nothing else went right for the Jaguars, who dropped a 42-10 contest at Wembley Stadium to the San Francisco 49ers despite Shorts' effort. Shorts ended the game with seven catches for 74 yards, and his 10 targets tied his counterpart Justin Blackmon for the team lead.
Fantasy Spin: Most of Shorts’ yardage came during “garbage time” in a game that got out of hand quickly. However, that’s been a common theme for the Jaguars receivers this season, but it makes no difference for fantasy owners who will take the points either way.
Shorts is on pace for more than 90 catches and 1,100 yards, and seems to have put the clavicle injury he sustained in Week 6 behind him. He will still get the benefit of a bye week's rest in Week 9, and will need it with a difficult matchup versus Alterraun Verner and the Titans on the horizon.
