Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno got only three more carries than rookie Montee Ball in the Week 8 win over the Washington Redskins, carrying the ball 14 times for 44 yards. Moreno made up for it by leading the Broncos in receiving with six receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Knowshon Moreno all purpose wonder for fantasy owners
The Denver Broncos running back put up 133 all-purpose yards and scored a touchdown in the Week 8 win over the Washington Redskins. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Moreno didn't get the goal-line carries that rookie tailback Montee Ball got, but he was incredibly active in the passing game. Moreno caught everything Manning threw to him and took a screen pass to the house. With Ronnie Hillman in the doghouse and inactive, it appears the Broncos backfield has solidified into a two-man committee.
Fantasy impact: Moreno shared carries with Ball, who got three of the four goal-line carries, but his production in the passing game cannot be denied. Ball only got one look in the passing game from quarterback Peyton Manning who targeted Moreno six times. Moreno made the most of those opportunities and scored on a Manning screen. Fantasy owners should continue to watch the split in the run game, but it appears the backfield now consists of a two-man committee of Moreno and rookie tailback Montee Ball. The Broncos enter a much needed Week 9 bye week and return in Week 10 to face the San Diego Chargers.
