Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown caught nine passes for 82 yards in a 21-18 loss to the Oakland Raiders in Week 8. Brown's effort marked the fourth time this season he has caught at least nine passes.
Antonio Brown continues to rack up receptions in consistent fantasy effort
The Steelers wide receiver was active against the Raiders but failed to find the end zone. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Though the Steelers offense has been filled with a lot of uncertainty this season, Brown has been the team's most consistent player in the first half of the year. He was targeted 13 times against the Raiders and although he was unable to find the end zone, he and teammate Emmanuel Sanders were the biggest reasons the Steelers were able to move the ball in the fourth quarter.
It is important for fantasy owners to note that although the debut of running back Le'Veon Bell a few weeks ago was viewed as an opportunity to bring the Steelers running game to life, the rookie averaged just 1.8 yards per carry against the Raiders. As a result, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was forced to throw the ball more than he probably wanted to.
As much as that probably isn't a winning strategy, the resulting impact on Antonio Brown's fantasy owners was a positive one, especially in leagues that reward receptions.
