Wes Welker contines to reward fantasy owners with Week 8 score
Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker caught six passes for 81 yards and scored a touchdown in the Week 8 win over the Washington Redskins. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Welker is putting up career numbers with Peyton Manning as his quarterback, which is amazing considering he was incredibly productive with Tom Brady as his quarterback. Welker has now tied his all-time career receiving touchdown total. He is on pace to catch 18 touchdown passes while putting up 1,110 receiving yards.
With so many options for Manning, Welker likely won’t match his career high receiving yards of 1,569, but he should continue to score touchdowns. Welker only has one game this year where he didn’t score at least one touchdown.
Fantasy impact: Welker is having an outstanding first year in the Broncos offense. He is tied with Eric Decker in leading the team in targets with 71 apiece. Demaryius Thomas is close behind with 70 targets. He will remain a must-start in all fantasy leagues. The Broncos have a Week 9 bye to heal and get refreshed. They will face the San Diego Chargers when they return in Week 10.
