Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy had a productive day rushing the football on Sunday, helping his team to a 44-31 victory over the division rival Minnesota Vikings. Lacy carried the ball 29 times for 94 yards with a touchdown. Of course, that's only a 3.2 yards per carry average, but he got the yardage he needed and found the endzone.
Eddie Lacy has solid day for Packers, fantasy owners
Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy had a solid day on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Lacy also added four receptions for 18 yards and reinforced his position as the starter. James Starks was returning from injury as his backup, taking over for Jonathan Franklin, who had came up big in recent weeks but also had multiple fumbles.
Starks was effective, with seven carries for 57 yards and a touchdown, though the backup role isn’t exactly clear-cut at this point. Both Starks and Franklin want to take carries from Lacy, but if he keeps playing the way he did on Sunday, that will be hard to do.
Fantasy Impact: Injuries led to surprising clarity at the running back position for Green Bay. Nobody quite knew how things would shape out, but now Lacy is ingrained as the starter while two good backs are competing for backup and change-of-pace carries. Lacy has been productive for fantasy owners and should continue to be going forward. He’s a solid RB2 option at this point.
