Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson is still on track for a Week 10 return, according to Tim Twentyman of the team's official website. Burleson is recovering from a broken arm and has targeted a return after the team's Week 9 bye since the beginning, so it sounds like there have been no significant setbacks.
Nate Burleson on track for Week 10 return, fantasy value should be solid
Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson is on track for a Week 10 return. We break down the fantasy implications.

Burleson injured his arm in a single-car crash in which he struck a divider while trying to save a pizza from falling off the passenger's seat. Burleson was the team's leading receiver when he went down with an injury, narrowly edging out Calvin Johnson in yardage. It's unlikely that Burleson would have kept up that pace, but it was a big loss for the Lions at the time.
Detroit bested the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8 and will now have their bye, before taking on the tough Chicago Bears in Week 10. They're 5-3 on the season, and fighting for a spot in the playoffs, something that may be required to save head coach Jim Schwartz's job.
Fantasy Impact: Burleson was developing into a very nice WR2 for fantasy owners when he went down with injury. If he manages to return to form at 100 percent, then he should slide right back into the lineup behind Johnson. Fantasy owners who kept him on the roster through his injury should be rewarded, but they should wait until injury reports start coming out next week before making a decision on whether or not to start him in Week 10.
