The Cleveland Browns will stick with quarterback Jason Campbell for Week 9, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Campbell made the start in Week 8, replacing Brandon Weeden, who had an abysmal season up until that point. Not only that, Campbell played a very solid game, though the Browns couldn't unseat the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.
Fantasy football waiver wire advice, Week 9: Jason Campbell a serviceable bye week option
Jason Campbell will get the start for the Cleveland Browns in Week 10. We break down the fantasy implications.

In the end, the Chiefs won that game, 23-17, but Campbell kept the Browns in it. He completed 22 of 36 passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns, with no interceptions. He had no running game to back him up, and the Cleveland defense couldn’t handle the Kansas City offense. But he managed to keep it close and look better than Weeden has all season.
Brian Hoyer might be the starter at this point if he didn't get injured, but Campbell will likely be the guy going forward. There's no reason to go back to Weeden, a player many believe was a desperation pick for the previous regime.
Fantasy Impact: Campbell is actually a solid waiver wire pickup this week. If your quarterback has been seriously bad, it might be time for a change. If your quarterback is solid but on a bye week -- Peyton Manning, Colin Kaepernick and Matthew Stafford are all on byes -- then Campbell is a solid option.
Struggling players like Carson Palmer and Eli Manning are also on byes, meaning Campbell could be a solid option for those fantasy owners, because he might actually have more upside than either at this point. He figures to throw fewer interceptions, at the very least.
