Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey is facing increasing pressure to produce for the team. They will need more results than he's given them after losing Reggie Wayne for the season with a torn ACL.
Darrius Heyward-Bey to take bigger role in offense, will it be enough to give him fantasy relevance?
Darrius Heyward-Bey will be asked to step up for the Colts after Reggie Wayne went down for the year. We break down the fantasy implications.

According to ESPN, head coach Chuck Pagano will go with some kind of committee at wideout, but Heyward-Bey is taking one of the starting spots. The rest of the depth chart is some mix of T.Y. Hilton, LaVon Brazill and Griff Whalen. Heyward-Bey has been quiet this year, recording just 18 catches for 190 yards and one touchdown.
Fantasy impact: It’s difficult to trust Heyward-Bey in any fantasy format--he cleared 50 yards in just one game this year--but the team needs him to step with Wayne out. For now, fantasy owners should consider Hilton the top pass-catching target and the one with the most upside. Heyward-Bey isn’t much more than a WR4 until he proves that he can deliver more consistent production.
