Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch had no opportunities to unleash "beast mode" versus the St. Louis Rams on Monday night.
Marshawn Lynch disappoints fantasy owners with just 23 yards on 8 carries
The Seahawks eked out a tough division win on the road on Monday night, but barely featured the running game. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Rams defense put constant pressure on Russell Wilson, sacking him seven times and rarely allowing the Seahawks to sustain drives. Lynch's stat sheet was a casualty of this, as the bruising back carried the ball just eight times for 23 yards. Lynch also chipped in with one catch for four yards in the effort.
Fantasy Spin: It was by far the worst fantasy output for Lynch this season, who spoiled his fantasy owners with three touchdowns over his previous three contests. Though the Rams forced Lynch’s owners to endure a stark contrast from his previous outings, there’s no reason to believe that Lynch won’t bounce back.
Lynch draws a surprisingly difficult matchup versus the Buccaneers in Week 9, a team that has allowed just three rushing touchdowns and 3.7 yards per carry on the ground thus far. Despite that, Lynch is still an RB1 and a good bet to rebound and find the end zone in a game that could get lopsided.
