St. Louis Rams running back Zac Stacy bullied the Seahawks front seven on Monday night, posting the highest rushing total of his career.
Zac Stacy erupts for 134 yards for fantasy owners despite tough matchup
The Rams’ rookie running back accomplished a rare feat, gaining over 100 yards on the ground versus one of the league’s most unforgiving defenses. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stacy totaled 134 yards on 26 carries, as the Rams found unlikely success on the ground versus one of the NFL’s top defensive units. His total marks the second time that a running back eclipsed the 100-yard mark against the Seahawks, with the first being Arian Foster’s 102-yard performance in Week 3.
Fantasy Spin: Stacy has moved the ball efficiently despite being on one of the league's lower scoring offenses, averaging 4.3 yards per carry on the year. Since the Rams made the decision to give Stacy the starting job over Daryl Richardson, there has been new life breathed into the run game as well as rosters of fantasy owners who made the waiver claim for Stacy a few weeks ago.
Stacy draws a favorable matchup for Week 9 versus a Tennessee Titans defense which has given up eight rushing touchdowns and is allowing an average of 4.2 yards per carry and 117 rushing yards per game. Fantasy owners can pen him in as a solid RB2 in the meantime.
