Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin isn't expected to practice Thursday, according to ESPNDallas.com reporter Calvin Watkins. Austin, who missed last week's Cowboys game against the San Diego Chargers, appears unlikely to play this week when the Cowboys take on the Denver Broncos.
Miles Austin not expected to practice Thursday; fantasy value for Week 5 minimal
Austin, who missed the Cowboys’ last game, is still battling injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

If Austin were to miss Sunday, rookie Terrance Williams would likely get a second straight start, after catching seven balls for 71 yards against the Chargers last Sunday. Dwayne Harris will likely be the next receiver up.
Fantasy impact: Williams had decent yardage Sunday, but did have a back-breaking fumble late in the game. He is a pass-catcher more in the mold of the team's star, Dez Bryant, and doesn't fill in the Austin role as well as the Cowboys might like.
Austin is basically unusable this week, especially with the Cowboys and Broncos in a 4:25 game, meaning fantasy players might not get word on his status until after the early games begin. It’s hard to picture a scenario in which it would make sense to start Austin. Williams is a fine fill-in, but doesn’t have nearly the upside of Austin, or, frankly, other non-Cowboys options.
