Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller is expected to be active for Thursday Night Football against the Cleveland Browns, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
C.J. Spiller expected to be active for fantasy owners Thursday night
All indications are that C.J. Spiller will play on Thursday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Spiller suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's win over the Baltimore Ravens. He missed practice on Monday and Tuesday and got only a limited session in on Wednesday. He was officially listed as questionable for the game. Spiller has been disappointing fantasy owners so far this year, getting just 230 yards and a touchdown on 3.5 yards per carry.
Fantasy impact: Despite the short week, the Bills feel comfortable making Spiller active for the game. He may end up going on a snap count since the ankle is clearly less than 100 percent. Fred Jackson is also dealing with a knee injury, but it won't be a surprise if he leads the team in touches. Neither player is a compelling option against a Cleveland defense that shut down Ray Rice last week.
