Ravens wide receiver Marlon Brown missed practice for the second straight day with a hamstring injury on Thursday.
Marlon Brown held out of practice for second straight day, fantasy owners growing nervous
The Ravens have been without their promising rookie during practice this week due to a hamstring injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brown's injury was initially reported as thigh-related, and was one he sustained in the Week 4 loss to the Bills. During a game that had Ravens running backs Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce dealing with injuries, the Ravens aired-it-out, and Brown capitalized with four catches and a touchdown, but posted a modest 34 yards.
Fantasy Spin: Though Brown has likely pleased his coaches and fantasy owners with three touchdowns in four games, there is no guarantee that he will have a job to come back to if he misses an extended period of time. The initial reason for his boost in playing time was because Jacoby Jones sustained an injury in the season opener. However, Jones returned to practice at a limited basis this week, and if he sees playing time and capitalizes in Brown's absence, the undrafted rookie could find himself on a long road back to the lineup. There's no reason to abandon hope on Brown in these early stages, and things would bode well for him if he can get back onto the practice field on Friday.
