Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson (knee) did not practice with the team on Wednesday, according to Bills reporter Joe Buscaglia. Jackson carried the ball 15 times for 45 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 8 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Fred Jackson skips practice Wednesday, likely resting, no need for fantasy fall back
The Bills running back did not practice with the team on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: With C.J. Spiller (ankle) being unable to play against the Saints, Jackson was forced to fly solo in that game. Though his numbers won't jump out at fantasy owners, he did the best he could considering the Saints put up a ton of points and forced Buffalo to throw the ball and not run as often.
Teammate Stevie Johnson (hip flexor) limped throughout the entire game against the Saints and was limited in Wednesday’s practice. Combine that with Spiller’s uncertain status for Week 9 and fantasy owners can bet that Jackson will play, as he is the best player likely to be available and the Bills need somebody to move the ball down the field.
Jackson has played like a top five fantasy running back for most of the season and he should be in your lineup against the Chiefs in Week 9, although the matchup is less than ideal.
