The Cincinnati Bengals travel to face the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football in Week 9. Marvin Jones is the big name among fantasy owners, but this could be a huge opportunity for the Bengals running game to get going.
Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 9: BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Gio Bernard on Thursday Night Football
The Miami Dolphins host the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football. The Dolphins run defense is struggling, which could bode well for BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Giovani Bernard. We break down the fantasy start/sit implications.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis remains the starter, but Giovani Bernard remains firmly hand-cuffed to the Law Firm. Green-Ellis is coming off a sub-par Week 8 performance in which he rushed 11 times for 33 yards against the New York. That followed a 24 yard performance against the Lions. Bernard is coming off his worst performance of the year, rushing five times for 18 yards and catching a nine-yard pass.
Neither running back was impressive, but they now face a Miami Dolphins defense that ranks 19th in yards per game allowed. From a more analytical perspective, Football Outsiders ranks Miami 29th against the run.
Start or sit: Both are good options to START this week, but Bernard remains the higher upside player. Green-Ellis has a chance to get some goal line work, but Bernard is more involved in both the rushing and passing game. Green-Ellis is an adequate bye week fill-in, while Bernard remains an upside flex option.
