The Miami Dolphins host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9 on Thursday Night Football. The Dolphin have struggled with consistency in the passing game, which could mean a greater reliance on the run game in the second half of the season.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 9: Lamar Miller, Daniel Thomas
The Miami Dolphins host the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football. The Dolphins running backs have been a mystery at times. We break down the fantasy start/sit implications.

Lamar Miller has been handling starting running back duties, but Daniel Thomas has gotten his share of work. Miller is coming off his best game as a pro; he rushed for 89 yards on 18 carries and caught three receptions for 23 yards against the New England Patriots. Thomas got 47 yards on nine carries and one reception for five yards. Neither found the end zone.
They face a Bengals defense that has been quite sturdy this season, giving up the sixth fewest points against opposing running backs.
Start or sit: Miller will always have more value than Thomas, but neither is a good play this week. The recommendation would be to SIT both running backs. However, if you are short on running backs due to byes or injuries, Miller does have some value. Consider all other options first, but he is an option if you’re desperate.
