New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report. Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald reports that there is "more optimism" about Amendola being able to play on Sunday than there is about tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Danny Amendola listed as questionable, but should be started in fantasy if he plays
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is officially listed as questionable on the injury report. We break down the fantasy implications.

Amendola is dealing with a groin injury suffered in Week 1. He’s missed the last three games with said injury, but has been practicing of late. Amendola’s injury is painful, but it’s not something that’s going to continue getting re-injured if he practices and plays, so that probably helps his case.
Given the significant issues the Patriots face at the receiver and tight end positions, getting Amendola back would be huge. He’s expected to be one of Tom Brady’s favorite targets, but he desperately needs to get healthy and back on the football field.
Fantasy Impact: Brady hasn’t been as big a fantasy football success this year, due to lacking play from his receivers. He really doesn’t have much to work with at this point, and that’s hurting him. Amendola can shine and be his No. 1 target, having more yards and more touchdowns than he’s ever had in his career.
But he needs to get back in the game first. He’ll likely be a game-time decision, though more solid opinions should come out on Saturday and early on Sunday, so fantasy owners should take the wait-and-see approach with his status. If he plays, then he should be started.
