Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden is listed as doubtful on the official injury report Friday. McFadden did not practice all week with a hamstring injury. It seems very unlikely that he'll play in Week 5 against the San Diego Chargers.
Darren McFadden doubtful, Rashad Jennings is solid fantasy handcuff
Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden is doubtful for Sunday’s game. We break down the fantasy implications.

McFadden injured himself in the team's previous game, and was replaced by Rashad Jennings. Fortunately for the Raiders, Jennings had a great game, McFadden had carried the ball five times for 29 yards before going down with the injury, but Jennings managed 14 carries for 45 yards and eight receptions for 71 yards in relief.
Jennings will likely get the start and the lion’s share of the touches from the running back position.
Fantasy Impact: The Raiders have said that McFadden doesn’t need to practice at all to be able to play, but it still seems unlikely. Fantasy owners knew the risk of drafting a player like McFadden given his extensive injury history, so this is par the course. They should avoid starting him this week, unless surprising news comes out prior to the game. Still, Jennings is a very solid handcuff option at this point.
