The injury, which has been reported as severe blisters, was never expected to keep Charles out for Sunday’s game. But when you have a player of his caliber and his extensive injury history missing practice, it’s always a big deal. Charles has already missed time this season and the Chiefs struggled without him.
That said, the Chiefs remain undefeated, though the matchup against Tennessee will be a tough one. Having Charles going full steam will be a big plus for them, and he should definitely be ready to carry a full load.
Fantasy Impact: Seeing Charles’ name on the injury report is expected for fantasy owners at this point. It’s always disturbing, however because Charles is the top running back for many fantasy teams these days. That said, he’s a must-start this week barring any setback which isn’t expected. There’s no reason to sit him at this point, as Kansas City also doesn’t have anyone to challenge him for his spot.
