Green Bay Packers running back Johnathan Franklin is listed as probable on the official injury report. Franklin is expected to be available and active for the game, however. Green Bay is set to take on the Detroit Lions in an NFC North rivalry matchup.
Johnathan Franklin injury update: Packers RB probable, could be fantasy handcuff if Eddie Lacy can’t play
Green Bay Packers running back Johnathan Franklin is probable for Sunday’s game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Franklin, a rookie fourth-round pick, is nursing a foot injury, but was a full participant in practice on Friday. Starter Eddie Lacy, a fellow rookie, is dealing with a concussion, though he was recently cleared for football activities and was also a full participant in practice.
Lacy is expected to pass all further tests and start against Detroit. Normally, Franklin would be third on the depth chart if not for the fact that James Starks is already declared out for the game with a knee injury.
Fantasy Impact: Franklin was very productive in relief of both Lacy and Starks. So productive that if he gets another chance in relief of Lacy on Sunday and does something with it, he could earn reps splitting carries with Lacy going forward. The fantasy value is iffy at this point, but he remains a solid handcuff in the event Lacy cannot play.
