New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola (groin) is listed as questionable for the team's Week 5 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. In his only game this season, Amendola caught 10 passes for 104 yards in a Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills. Amendola did travel with the team this week, and will be a game-time decision.
Danny Amendola injury update: Questionable, game-time decision for fantasy owners this week
The Patriots wide receiver was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Week 5 against the Bengals. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners who drafted Amendola hoping that he would fill the void left by Wes Welker's departure to the Denver Broncos were proven right in Week 1. That said, Amendola's injury history is well documented, and his lack of durability is once again keeping the slot receiver out of the lineup.
With both Amendola and tight end Rob Gronkowski (arm/back) both out, quarterback Tom Brady has had to rely on the likes of Julian Edelman, Kenbrell Thompkins and Aaron Dobson in the passing game. Although Brady had looked visibly frustrated with his younger receivers earlier this season, he seems to be clicking with them now.
Regardless of how well the young receivers do however, there is no doubt that Brady would welcome the return of his more proven commodities, as would their fantasy owners. Given how tightlipped the organization is about injuries, Amendola should be considered a game-time decision for Week 5 at this time.
Editor’s Note: Danny Amendola is expected to suit-up for the Patriots today, but the team will likely limit his reps, per reports.
