Cecil Shorts is active for Jaguars, is a shaky start for fantasy owners
The Jaguars will have their top wideout in their starting lineup once again, despite being held out of practice all week with a groin injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Shorts sustained a groin injury in practice earlier in the week and has been out of practice ever since. However, Shorts will suit up for the Jaguars, even though it is rare for a player to take the field after not practicing for the week before a game.
Fantasy Spin: It's highly doubtful that Shorts, who comes into Week 5 as the NFL's co-leader with 51 targets, is anywhere near 100 percent healthy. Despite a great matchup against the Rams, there may be limited opportunities for Shorts today, especially since Justin Blackmon, who can be penned-in as a high-upside WR3, will be back in the lineup.
As for Shorts, consider him a risky WR3 or flex play this week. He will only go as far as his pain tolerance takes him.
