Raiders running back Darren MacFadden is not likely to be active until after the team's Week 7 bye, according to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez.
Darren McFadden could sit until after the Raiders bye week, fantasy owners get contingency plans in place once again
The Raiders are not expected to get Darren McFadden back this week from his hamstring injury, and may not play him until after the team’s Week 7 bye. we break down the fantasy implications.

McFadden suffered a hamstring injury in the Raiders' 24-14 loss to the Redskins, in which he received five early carries and was then immediately sidelined. Should the team rest him, he will get nearly a full month off to recover. He would miss the Raiders Week 6 matchup versus the Chiefs in addition to Sunday's nightcap versus the Chargers, and return in time for a Week 8 matchup versus the Steelers.
Fantasy Spin: This is the storyline that McFadden's owners should have expected to follow when they drafted him, as the six-year veteran has never played a full 16 game season. Rashad Jennings will assume feature-back duties in the meantime, and can expect to see around 15 touches per game. He is a desperation flex play in McFadden's absence for teams in need of depth. On the season, McFadden has 53 carries for 215 yards and two touchdowns.
