Saints running back Pierre Thomas is off to a fast start in Chicago, scoring two TDs while totaling 21 rushing yards and 26 receiving yards on four catches in the first half.
Pierre Thomas scores two TDs in first half, fantasy value solidifying sans Mark Ingram
Pierre Thomas has two TD grabs from Drew Brees. We break down the fantasy implications.

His first TD came on a swing pass for two yards while his other was a 25-yard score going over the middle. The Bears have tried -- and failed -- to limit Jimmy Graham, but they've focused more on keeping Drew Brees from going down the field to his receivers. Only two of his 17 completions have been to wideouts, with one to Marques Colston and one to Nick Toon.
Thomas has seen seven of the 11 carries in the backfield and he's been long overdue for a nice game with Mark Ingram still not well from his toe injury.
Fantasy impact: Thomas can do it all and he’s been a safety valve for Brees. The team has been playing better D, so there are going to be times when the team runs the ball to play clock control. Still, Brees’ high completion rate suggests that they might not have to. Thomas should be a solid flex guy while Ingram is out of the lineup.
