Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green was held to 61 yards on five receptions Sunday. Green's low production didn't hurt the Bengals, as they still beat the New England Patriots, 13-6.
A.J. Green’s yardage disappoints fantasy players for fourth straight week
After a huge outing in Week 1, only a Week 3 touchdown has salvaged Green’s fantasy value. We break down the fantasy implications.

Green was targeted eight times by quarterback Andy Dalton, leading the team. His five receptions tied with tight end Tyler Eifert for the team lead.
Fantasy impact: Green had a huge Week 1, catching nine passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns against the Chicago Bears. Since then, though, he has been held to 22 catches and 199 yards total in the weeks since, with only a Week 3 touchdown salvaging his value. Green has gone for between 41 and 61 yards in each game since Week 1.
It’s been a very disappointing four weeks for fantasy owners who took Green among the top three or so receivers in fantasy this season, expecting more games like Week 1 and fewer like the games since. He’s hurt by a poor quarterback, but still, Green should improve going forward. The Bengals’ next two weeks feature games against Buffalo (which has been without much of its passing defense in recent weeks) and Detroit, so there’s reason to think Green’s improvement is imminent.
