The running back has now scored three touchdowns through five games, but he has yet to top 75 yards rushing in a game.
Fantasy impact: The 3.5 yards per carry Green-Ellis averaged Sunday is nothing special, but nonetheless was his best average this season. At this point, fantasy owners know what they’re likely to get out of Green-Ellis: not much yardage, some fantasy-unhelpful chain-moving and, with luck, a touchdown.
There’s a place for a player like that, but it’s as a bye week fill-in or a low-end flex play. He’s not someone you want to rely on, but he’s someone who does have a certain value nonetheless.
