Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy made his return to game action Sunday after missing most of Week 2 and all of Week 3 with a concussion. He ran for 99 yards on 23 carries as the Packers beat the Detroit Lions, 22-9.
Eddie Lacy nears 100 yards for Packers, fantasy owners in return to action
The Packers rookie missed nearly two full games with a concussion, but rushed for 99 yards Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Lacy suffered a concussion after one carry in Week 2 and missed Week 3 before the team’s Week 4 bye. His return to action Sunday came as the team was without backup running back James Starks.
Fantasy impact: Lacy was kept out of the end zone, but in a defensive-minded game he still got 99 yards and didn't fumble, which was a problem for him in his one full game this season. Wide receiver Randall Cobb had 72 rushing yards on two carries, but there was otherwise no significant rushing action for Green Bay, as Johnathan Franklin had only one total yard on three carries. Of Cobb's 72 rushing yards, 67 came on a single play, so the moral of the story is the team relied on Lacy to run the ball.
Going forward, Lacy is a pretty solid RB2 as long as he’s healthy and controlling the ball.
