After a miserable first half, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers recovered in the second half Sunday, ending up with a wholly respectable 20 completions on 30 attempts for 274 yards and a touchdown. Rodgers led the way as the Packers beat the Detroit Lions 22-9.
Aaron Rodgers’ big second half salvages fantasy value
The Packers quarterback ended up having a decent day after a slow start. We break down the fantasy implications.

Rodgers' touchdown pass came on an 83-yard connection with wide receiver James Jones near the end of the third quarter. The two had a second touchdown overturned on replay later in the game.
Fantasy impact: Rodgers' first-half woes (he didn't top 100 passing yards until the second half), coming after a rough Week 3 game against the Bengals, had to scare fantasy owners. A total of 274 yards and only one touchdown isn't the dominant game fantasy owners hoped for, but considering where he was after a half it has to be considered acceptable.
The Packers’ next couple games come against decent Baltimore and Cleveland defenses. Regardless, Rodgers is Rodgers, and, even if he might not be fantasy’s definitive No. 1 quarterback, he’s still in the top three at worst.
