Dolphins tight end Charles Clay continues to be an unlikely contributor his team's offense this season.
Charles Clay notches 3rd touchdown of the season for his fantasy owners in loss to the Ravens
The Dolphins versatile tight end found the end zone once again on Sunday, bringing his season total to three. We break down the fantasy implications.

Clay was not given many opportunities in a 26-23 loss to the Ravens on Sunday, but he capitalized on the chances he was given. There were two appropriate examples of this, with the first being an athletic nine-yard touchdown grab at the end zone's perimeter before halftime. Later in the game, Clay corralled an over-the-shoulder grab to cap off a 45-yard passing play. Clay finished the afternoon with three catches for 52 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Spin: Clay continues to present value despite the tight end position being a deep one. He now has three touchdowns in his first five games, and has established himself as a versatile chess piece in the Dolphins offense and has also earned the trust of young quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Going forward, Clay remains a TE2 option with upside, and does well in a pinch as a spot starter with multiple teams on byes in the coming weeks.
