David Wilson exits early with neck injury, does not appear to be in danger of missing time for fantasy owners
David Wilson’s disappointing season experiences another hiccup, as he was sidelined with a neck injury versus the Eagles. We break down the fantasy implications.

Wilson tweeted after the game that he passed additional tests, which could imply that he was also being evaluated for a concussion. Fox Sports insider Mike Garafolo reported that Wilson’s injury was not considered serious, and then presumed Wilson was likely held out for precautionary reasons.
Fantasy Spin: It was a discouraging day overall for Wilson, the Giants and Wilson’s fantasy owners, especially since the last two were given a small taste of what Wilson could provide for the sputtering Giants offense. Wilson scored his first rushing touchdown of the season from five yards out on a draw play, and displayed a wiggle and burst that the team could desperately use around the goal line. Wilson finished the afternoon with just 16 yards on six carries, but his owners will gladly take the touchdown in the meantime.
Assuming better health, Wilson will face a stout Bears defense on a short week, and will not garner much starting consideration from fantasy owners. Even if he practices enough during the week, he still remains a shaky-at-best flex play for Week 6.
