Carson Palmer throws three interceptions while fantasy value continues to plummet
The Arizona Cardinals quarterback threw for 175 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in the Week 5 win over the Carolina Panthers. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

On the year, Palmer has five touchdowns and nine interceptions while throwing for only 1,185 yards. Palmer is averaging 237 passing yards per game and is on pace to throw 16 touchdowns and 29 interceptions.
Fantasy impact: Palmer had a decent game in Week 1, but has really struggled since then. He has strung together a series of bad performances and shows no signs of improvement. He isn’t a viable fantasy play at this point unless you are in desperation mode. He is only averaging 237 passing yards per game and is on pace to throw more interceptions than touchdowns. His poor fantasy performance is expected to continue into Week 6 as the Cardinals will face the San Francisco 49ers and their nasty defense. Palmer remains a desperation start and is unlikely to make a fantasy impact this year.
