Blackmon was targeted nine times while Shorts was targeted ten.
Cecil Shorts and Justin Blackmon score for fantasy owners in Week 5 loss
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receivers Cecil Shorts and Justin Blackmon each scored a touchdown in the Week 5 loss to the St. Louis Rams. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Fantasy impact: Officially the Jaguars remain committed to Blaine Gabbert whose play has been inconsistent to put it mildly. Gabbert left the game in the third quarter with a hamstring injury and did not return. Following the game, Gus Bradley reiterated his support for Gabbert as the starter even though Henne came in and threw for 89 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions in relief.
It's important to keep in mind Shorts and Blackmon's success came against a struggling Rams defense. With Henne as the starter, Shorts and Blackmon could be decent fantasy starters so the situation bears watching. The Jaguars also lost left tackle Luke Joeckel for the season to an ankle injury in the game. The Jaguars will face the Denver Broncos in Week 6.
