Steelers receiver Markus Wheaton (finger) said he won't play against the Jets in Week 6. He won't get the stitches out of his finger until the Monday after the game, but could be ready for Week 7.
Markus Wheaton injury update: Broken finger takes wind out of fantasy sail
Markus Wheaton won’t get his stitches out of his hand and will miss next week. We break down the fantasy implications.

He broke his pinkie in Week 4 and the bye week in Week 5 won’t be enough time for him to heal.
Wheaton was finally starting to come around for the Steelers. Although it didn’t show up on the stat sheet, his snaps have been on the incline as the season has progressed. The rookie saw five targets, catching three of them for 26 yards in Week 4.
Fantasy impact: Obviously, the vast majority of fantasy owners couldn’t care less about Wheaton. The Oregon State product did show some promise in the preseason with plenty of end-zone targets, but the team hasn’t really pushed him along too quickly.
The learning curve for rookie receivers is a steep one, so the injury isn't going to help him. He'll basically need Emmanuel Sanders or Antonio Brown to miss time in order to have value in even the deep leagues.
