Rams coach Jeff Fisher announced that Zac Stacy would be his starting tailback for Week 6's matchup against the Texans. He got the start in Week 5 against the Jaguars on Sunday.
Zac Stacy will remain the starter, becomes a must-add in fantasy
Zac Stacy is the starting tailback for the Rams. We break down the fantasy implications.

He looked good before going down due to injury, totaling 78 yards on 14 carries against the lowly Jags. Yes, that was against the worst team in the league, but the Rams were the second-worst running team in the NFL and had not even cleared the 100-yard mark in four previous games.
The Rams are still a pass-first offense and that’s not going to change. The bad news is that Stacy isn’t much of a pass catcher, but the team is dying for an interior presence between the tackles. He’s averaging 5.5 yards per carry this season on his 15 totes, which is by far the best among Rams backs.
Fantasy impact: He's a starting tailback, so he has to be picked up. While the Rams ground attack will limit him from being a must-start RB2 guy, he'll have his fair share of nice matchups. This week is not going to be one of them. San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore gashed the Texans on Sunday, but that's one of the best running teams in the NFL. It'll get easier for Stacy, so his owners shouldn't panic should he lay an egg on Sunday. It's probably safe to cut Daryl Richardson in most leagues.
