Tight end Jeff Cumberland provided a spark in the Jets offense during the team's 30-28 win over the Falcons on Monday night.
Jeff Cumberland logs 79 yards and vultures a receiving touchdown from fantasy owners
The Jets got a boost in the passing game from second-string tight end Jeff Cumberland on Monday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cumberland made his presence known early on after plucking a dart out of the air from Geno Smith for a 20-yard touchdown catch. Cumberland also snagged a 47-yard catch-and-run later in the half that padded his receiving totals, but that was the last time he added anything to the stat sheet. Cumberland was held without a catch in the second half of the game.
Fantasy Spin: There isn't much to conclude from Cumberland's performance other than the fact that there is a dearth of receiving options on the Jets' offense. Santonio Holmes is out with a hamstring injury, and Kellen Winslow was limited in practice all week with a knee injury, which impacted his overall involvement during the game. Some of quarterback Geno Smith's best throws of the night were to Cumberland, but he was clearly more set on spreading the ball around instead of feeding one or two receivers. Cumberland remains on the fantasy watch list, but nothing more at this point.
