Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson was not a participant in Wednesday's practice, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. Johnson is dealing with a knee injury, and was likely limited to individual work on a side field. He's been spotted wearing a compression sleeve on the injured leg.
Calvin Johnson misses practice, fantasy status in question for Week 6
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson missed practice on Wednesday.

Johnson doesn’t normally practice on Wednesdays, given that he’s already established himself as the best player in the NFL and certainly doesn’t need a full week of practice to be ready. Still, it’s significant and worth noting because of his injury. It’s likely the Lions would have wanted him to practice if he were healthy, given the missed time thus far.
The star receiver missed Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers because of the injury sustained the week prior against the Chicago Bears. There's no word on his status for the team's Week 6 game against the Cleveland Browns.
Fantasy Impact: Johnson is the best wide receiver in the NFL. That much is clear, though injuries have hobbled him slightly this season. When he does come back, he’ll resume being Matthew Stafford’s favorite target and pick up where he left off making defenses look silly. For now though, his status is in question and fantasy owners hold their breath.
