Alfred Morris says he’s ready to go for Week 6, should be started in fantasy
Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris says he’s ready to go for Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fortunately for Morris, the Redskins had an early bye week and he had an extra week to recover. It’s unclear to what extent he’ll practice in the leadup to the game or what his official status will be on Washington’s injury report, but it’s looking likely he’ll be able to play, regardless.
Morris said that “all is well,” and that he will wear some extra padding on his torso -- though said padding is “annoying.” That padding shouldn’t have a negative effect on his ability to play and gauge the Cowboys for big chunks of yardage, something he was able to do last season.
Fantasy Impact: Morris has been productive for the Redskins thus far. He's got 56 carries for 296 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 74.0 yards per game and 5.3 yards per carry. It's unclear if he'll top his rookie season at this point, but with the struggles of Robert Griffin III and the Redskins in general, it might fall on Morris to carry the load this season. Unless you hear otherwise on Friday and Saturday, Morris should be started this week.
