A week after setting a career high in rushing yards with 89, Miami Dolphins running back Lamar Miller did it again Thursday, rushing for 105 yards on 16 carries in the Dolphins' 22-20 overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Lamar Miller rewards fantasy owners with first career 100-yard game
The Dolphins running back did most of his damage in the first half of Thursday’s game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Miller added 24 receiving yards on receptions. The running back had 89 of his rushing yards and nine of his receiving yards in the first half, getting only five carries in the second half and overtime. Meanwhile, the team's other running back, Daniel Thomas, ran the ball 12 times for 38 yards, adding four receiving yards on a single reception.
Fantasy impact: This is the type of performance Miller owners were expecting when they spent a big fantasy draft pick on him in the preseason. For the first few weeks of the year, Thomas and Miller appeared to be in some kind of time-share in Miami, but the last couple weeks have seen Miller start to separate himself from Thomas, with 41 offensive touches for Miller in the last two weeks against only 23 for Thomas.
Miller is slotting himself in as a good RB2 option going forward, while Thomas is only a desperation play.
