Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is officially listed as questionable on the injury report, and will be a game-time decision for Week 9 against the Indianapolis Colts, according to Tania Ganguli of ESPN. Foster's backup, Ben Tate will play in the game, having sufficiently recovered from a rib injury.
Arian Foster questionable, fantasy value iffy; Ben Tate to play Sunday
Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is questionable, while Ben Tate will play Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Foster was a limited participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. He hasn’t missed a game since 2011, but has clearly been limited by injury at various points this season. Foster is dealing with a hamstring injury, which is an injury that can easily be aggravated if not given sufficient recovery time.
Tate has been productive behind Foster this season. He’s carried the ball 66 times for 318 yards with a touchdown, while Foster has carried 121 times for 542 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Impact: Hopefully, fantasy owners listened to advice prior to the season in which just about everyone labeled Tate as the top fantasy handcuff for running backs this season. He’s been that guy so far, though obviously, owners want Foster to be healthy and playing. It seems likely Foster would carry a lighter load if he does play, though. He’s a judgment call at this point, but if you have other options, maybe sit Foster this week.
