Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon has been suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy once again, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network. It's unclear how long until he'll be back, but Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union is reporting that he won't even be eligible for reinstatement until just prior to the start of the 2014-15 season, meaning his year is done.
Justin Blackmon suspended, fantasy season could be finished
The Jags wide receiver was suspended on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

In the end, Blackmon managed to play in just four games this season. He missed the first four weeks of the season due to a suspension that was also related to substance abuse -- making this the fourth time he’s been in trouble for this kind of violation. There’s no word on what Blackmon did exactly, but it hardly factors into the equation at this point. He’s suspended and he’ll be expected to get help.
Blackmon looked to be coming on strong this season. He put up yardage totals of 136 and 190 yards off of 19 catches over his first two games back, quickly picking up lost ground due to the suspension earlier in the season.
Fantasy Impact: Obviously, fantasy owners who drafted Blackmon despite his initial suspension knew they were assuming no small amount of risk. He came on strong for them and probably won them a couple games, but he's done. Release him, as there is no reason to keep him on your fantasy team unless he manages some crazy, Hail Mary appeal with the help of the NFL Players Association. Jacksonville will turn to Cecil Shorts, and give players like Mike Brown and Ace Sanders more looks on offense.
