In the wake of injuries to wide receivers Percy Harvin (season-long) and Sidney Rice (season-ending), Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate has become the de facto No. 1 in the Seattle receiving game. In his first game in the nominal role, Tate was basically shut down by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday, with only three receptions for 29 yards. Sunday, against the Atlanta Falcons, he hopes to get back on the right side of the stat sheet.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 10: Golden Tate
The Seahawks wide receiver was shut down in the first game without running mate Sidney Rice, but can he rebound in Week 10? We break down the fantasy implications.

A game earlier -- with Rice still on the field -- Tate caught five passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns. He has 468 receiving yards and three touchdowns on the season.
Fantasy impact: While the Buccaneers and Falcons are less than four yards a game apart in receiving defense, the setups are very different -- the Bucs have Darrelle Revis, and now that they are deploying him in man coverage, their primary goal is shutting down the opponent's stud, while the Falcons are more of a group effort. The upshot of that difference is that Tate could do more this week than he was able to do last Sunday.
It appears unlikely Harvin returns Sunday, so with that in mind, Tate is a fine WR3/flex play, with the upside that he could have another two-score game in his arsenal.
