Cincinnati Bengals running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis is coming off his third-highest rushing-yard total of the season Thursday night, rushing for 72 yards on 21 carries against the Miami Dolphins. Green-Ellis hopes to keep his rushing yards high Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 10: BenJarvus Green-Ellis
The Bengals running back has fallen behind rookie Giovani Bernard on the depth chart. Can he be productive Sunday? We break down the fantasy implications.

On the season, Green-Ellis has 424 rushing yards on 131 carries, good for 3.2 yards a carry, and three touchdowns. He has rushed for less than 40 yards in five of his nine games this year, as rookie running back Giovani Bernard has become the go-to option in the Bengals' running game. Many of Green-Ellis' yards in that Thursday game came after Bernard was injured and left the game. Bernard appears to be fully back from his rib injury and is a full go in Week 10.
Fantasy impact: The Bengals face a Ravens defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. At 9.6 points a game, the Ravens are the only team to have allowed less than 11 fantasy points a game to running backs.
That number hurts Bernard’s value somewhat, but it likely destroys any that Green-Ellis might have had. Anyone playing Green-Ellis does so hoping he can get a short-yardage touchdown, which is not something worth relying on. Green-Ellis likely isn’t worth a play this week.
