New York Giants running back Andre Brown is slated to make his first start of the season on Sunday after sustaining a fractured fibula in the team's preseason finale.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 10: Andre Brown
To say that the New York Giants’ running game is in need of a boost would be an understatement. However, they are set to reenlist the help of running back Andre Brown. We break down the fantasy implications.

Since Brown went down, the Giants backfield has been a carousel of mediocrity, with reps being split between David Wilson, Michael Cox, Brandon Jacobs and Peyton Hillis. With Wilson being placed on injured reserve on Thursday, the latter two are expected to join Brown in the backfield on Sunday. However, Jacobs has been limited in practice due to a hamstring injury, and the fact that he is still limited after a bye does not bode well for Jacobs' workload.
Fantasy Spin: After sitting out for over 10 weeks due to a serious injury, it's highly unlikely that Brown will be immediately thrown into the fire on Sunday. However, with Jacobs ailing, expect Brown to be involved in the mix with Hillis as the "primary" back. Even with a juicy matchup ahead versus the Raiders, it isn't likely that Hillis or Brown will get the 23-touch volume that Hillis racked-up in the past two weeks.
The likelihood is that the Giants will be able to capitalize through the air versus a Raiders secondary that just allowed seven touchdown passes from the hand of Nick Foles in Week 9. Hillis and Brown are only worth desperation flex starts in leagues of 14 or more teams, and Jacobs is off of the fantasy radar altogether.
